Why we rate it that way

Gaming Giveaways is a legitimate, compliance-conscious operator with a clear niche and one of the better free-entry and responsible-play setups in the sector. Registered as Smile Group Giveaways Ltd and running since around 2019, it built its name on gaming and collectibles — Pokémon, LEGO, consoles, graphics cards — and has since added cars, watches, cash and lifestyle prizes. It holds a 4.5 Trustpilot rating across more than 2,000 reviews, runs live and double-blind auto draws broadcast on Facebook, Instagram and Twitch three times a week, and — to its real credit — offers a free postal route on every competition, follows the UK's voluntary good-practice code, and provides spend limits, pausing and ID checks. Winners get a prize, store-credit or cash option. The honest caveats: a minority report prize-fulfilment delays and being left waiting on support tickets, and at least one Pokémon competition was criticised as misleadingly advertised, so read the fine print. For collectors and gamers especially, though, it's a sound, well-run choice.

About Gaming Giveaways

Gaming Giveaways, registered as Smile Group Giveaways Ltd, is a UK competition site running since around 2019 that built its name on gaming and collectibles — Pokémon, LEGO, consoles, graphics cards and retro games — and has since expanded into cars, watches, cash and lifestyle prizes. It holds a 4.5 Trustpilot rating across more than 2,000 reviews, runs live and double-blind auto draws broadcast on Facebook, Instagram and Twitch on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and offers a free postal route on every competition. It stands out for responsible-play tools and a sizeable Discord community, with low entry prices and a clear collector focus.

Is Gaming Giveaways legit?

Its draws are live or via a double-blind auto-draw system broadcast on Facebook, Instagram and Twitch three times a week, and it offers a free postal route on every competition, follows the UK's voluntary good-practice code, and provides spend limits, pausing and ID checks — stronger compliance than many rivals. The honest caveats are about service, not legitimacy: a minority report prize-fulfilment delays and slow support, and at least one competition was criticised as misleadingly advertised. Read the fine print and play within a budget.
Pros
  • +Clear niche — gaming and collectibles (Pokémon, LEGO, consoles, graphics cards) — plus cars, watches, cash and lifestyle prizes.
  • +4.5 Trustpilot rating across more than 2,000 reviews, with live and double-blind auto draws broadcast on Facebook, Instagram and Twitch.
  • +Strong compliance: a free postal route on every competition, the UK voluntary good-practice code, spend limits, pausing and ID checks.
  • +Prize, store-credit or cash options on wins, with an easy instant-credit system and an active Discord community.
  • +Low entry prices, and it has kept low-odds competitions even as it has grown.
Cons
  • −A minority report prize-fulfilment delays and being left waiting on support tickets.
  • −At least one competition (a Pokémon draw) was criticised as misleadingly advertised, so read the fine print.
  • −Its rating sits around 4.5 rather than the very top, and some find success rates lower than rival sites.

Trust Notes

PDD Trust Score · reviewed 4 September 2026. We score risk to you, not the star average. Gaming Giveaways holds a 4.2 Trustpilot average from 2,239 reviews — the lowest of the large operators we checked — and replies to 84% of negatives. What holds the score back: reviews report a £500+ console bundle that never arrived with support tickets going unanswered, a prize that arrived badly damaged and packed in a cat-food box where the replacement collection was then sent to the wrong address, and a customer told that competitions they had already paid to enter were void after deleting their account. Prize fulfilment, rather than draw fairness, is the recurring theme here. These are unverified customer accounts.
