Royalux Competitions is a busy, low-stake instant-win site with a verifiable company record and one serious mark against it: the upheld January 2025 ASA ruling over a garden-makeover draw whose terms were rewritten after the winner, the supplier's brother, was drawn. Royalux Competitions Ltd (SC690158) was incorporated in February 2021 and is still listed as active, Trustpilot shows 4.8 from about 1,480 reviews (October 2026), and 59 of those reviews were left in the past 12 months. Caps are shown on every listing, winners are named with ticket numbers, and clause 3.8 of the terms gives a free postal route. Against that, one review this year alleges repeat winners, another says a win was not credited, the firm has not replied to negative reviews recently, and there is no written complaints procedure. The ruling is the reason PDD places it in the weak band, even though the reviews and company record are strong.
We run no draws ourselves — this is an independent assessment from verifiable signals only. We never invent ratings, winner counts or prize values.
Its winners are public: the Draw Results page names each one with a ticket number, and 4.8 on Trustpilot from about 1,480 reviews (October 2026) backs a registered, active Scottish company. The warning is the upheld January 2025 ASA ruling, which found Royalux changed a competition's terms after the draw so a supplier's brother could keep a £5,000 garden makeover. Treat it as a real firm with a verifiable record and one documented lapse in running a draw fairly.
Clause 4.1 of the terms says the winner is chosen by Google Random Number Generator, and live draws are announced on Facebook, usually around 10pm when a competition ends, with no fixed day. Auto Draw competitions pick the winner about 15 minutes after close. Instant wins are checked against a pre-set list of winning numbers generated before launch by the site's developer, which the FAQ describes as audited.
Send a postcard, one per entry, with the competition answer, written in English and received before the closing date; clause 3.8 of the terms sets out the route, and you need a registered account. Hand-delivered entries are not accepted. The terms state that postal entries have the same chance of hitting instant wins as paid online entries.
The FAQ says cash wins go to your cash account instantly once verified, with manual payments taking up to 24 hours and physical prizes dispatched or ready to collect within 24 hours. Ticket-bundle wins are added by hand, usually the same day and up to 48 hours at busy times. Those are the site's own stated timings, not something PDD has measured.
In January 2025 the ASA upheld a complaint about a £5,000 garden makeover plus £2,000 cash draw. The winner was the brother of the garden supplier, and Royalux removed the supplier-family exclusion from its terms after the draw so the prize could stand. The ASA found the promotion had not been administered fairly and told Royalux not to amend terms retrospectively again.

PDD Trust Score 3.4/5 · Trustpilot 4.8. Strengths: Royalux Competitions Ltd (SC690158), incorporated on 23 February 2021, is listed as active with accounts and confirmation statement not overdue. Trustpilot shows 4.8 from about 1,480 reviews with 98% five-star. Every listing shows tickets sold against a published cap, the Draw Results page lists winners by name and ticket number for each draw since June 2026, clause 3.8 of the terms gives a free postal route with equal instant-win odds, and the account area offers spend limits, self-exclusion and links to GamCare and BeGambleAware. Why it sits in the weak band: the ASA ruling A24-1255202 of 15 January 2025, over a £5,000 garden makeover plus £2,000 draw: the winner was the garden supplier's brother, and Royalux removed the supplier-family exclusion from its terms afterwards so the prize could stand. The ASA ruled the promotion had not been administered fairly, in breach of CAP Code rules 8.2 and 8.14, and told Royalux not to amend terms retrospectively. Also held against it: one review in the last 12 months alleging repeat winners and one alleging an uncredited win, no company replies to negative reviews recently with older replies often personal, no written complaints procedure or phone number, a prize-substitution clause, and website terms that call the company English-registered when it is Scottish. Checked 30 October 2026.
