Why we rate it that way

Guitars Giveaway sells only guitars, basses, amps and pedals. Guitars Giveaway Ltd (company 14317500) was incorporated on 25 August 2022, the register lists it as Active, and the number in the site footer matches. Trustpilot shows 4.9 from about 160 reviews (October 2026), and the 20 most recent are all five-star winner reports, most describing delivery within days. Paid tickets run from 15p to £2.99. Product pages show the cap and tickets sold, clause 11.4 says the draw goes ahead whether or not it sells out, the site publishes winners, ticket numbers and entry lists, and free postal entry is in clause 3.11. The main caveat is how much of one draw a single entrant can hold. Two reviewers (December 2024 and February 2025) asked why the same entrants keep winning; the company told the first that the entrant enters many competitions and pointed to the entry lists, and the second got no reply. That reviewer and another from August 2025 also say their accounts were banned or locked after complaining. A limit of 499 on a 4,999-ticket draw lets one person hold about 10% of tickets, while the AML policy states 5%. Beyond that, 159 reviews is a small base, there are no spending controls, clause 7.1 leaves disputes with the company, and some competitions are AutoDraws with no live stream.

About Guitars Giveaway

Guitars Giveaway sells tickets for guitar draws through Guitars Giveaway Ltd, a West Midlands company incorporated in August 2022. On 30 October 2026 the site listed 25 competitions, with paid tickets from a 15p Epiphone to a £2.99 Gibson Les Paul 1957 Custom Shop reissue, Fender, PRS and Taylor models in between, and one free app-only pedal competition. Draws are streamed on Facebook every Wednesday and Sunday at 8.30pm, and the site holds 4.9 on Trustpilot from about 160 reviews (October 2026). Free postal entry is in clause 3.11 of the terms.

Is Guitars Giveaway legit?

Trustpilot stands at 4.9 from about 160 reviews (October 2026), and none of the 24 reviews PDD read describes a prize that went missing or arrived only after chasing; the slowest case was a guitar about a week after contact, posted as a five-star review. Guitars Giveaway Ltd is an active UK company incorporated in August 2022, the terms name it as promoter with the same company number as the footer, and an ASA search for the brand returned nothing. The open questions are two older complaints that the same entrants win often (the published entry lists let you check for yourself), two 2025 reviewers who say their accounts were banned or locked after they complained, with no company reply shown, and the small review base.

Pros

+4.9 on Trustpilot from about 160 reviews (October 2026), 97% at five stars, and the 20 most recent are all five-star winner reports, most describing delivery within a few days.
+Every product page shows the ticket cap, the number sold and the per-person limit, and the site publishes a winners list, draw results with ticket numbers and a downloadable entry list for each competition.
+Guitars Giveaway Ltd, incorporated in August 2022, is up to date at Companies House, with accounts made up to August 2025 and a confirmation statement filed in August 2026, and the company number in the footer matches the register.
+Clause 11.4 of the terms says the draw happens and the prize is awarded however many tickets sell, and the free postal route covers instant wins as well as the main draws.

Cons

−One entrant can hold about 10% of a draw: the Gibson Les Paul Standard HP page allows 499 of 4,999 tickets, though the site's AML policy says entries are limited to 5% per person. Two reviewers (December 2024 and February 2025) questioned why the same entrants win so often, and the company's only reply said the entrant enters many competitions. Two of the four 1 to 3 star reviewers (February and August 2025) also say their accounts were banned or locked after complaining, with no company reply shown.
−A small review base: 159 Trustpilot reviews, 41 of them in the past year, and Trustpilot flags that the company has no recent history of asking for reviews.
−Nothing on the site lets you cap your spending or exclude yourself, and no responsible-play page was found; the only limit is the per-competition entry cap, so fix a budget before the first ticket.
−Disputes have nowhere to go beyond a contact form: clause 7.1 makes the company's ruling final with no correspondence, and the FAQ (redraw after 14 days) and the terms (21 days) give different claim windows.

Frequently asked questions

Is Guitars Giveaway legit?+

Guitars Giveaway Ltd (14317500) is an active UK company, Trustpilot shows 4.9 from about 160 reviews (October 2026), winners and ticket numbers are published, and no ASA ruling turned up. The caveat is that one person may hold about 10% of a draw's tickets, and two older reviews question repeat winners. The review base is also under 200, so start with the pence-priced tickets.

How do Guitars Giveaway draws work?+

You answer a competition question, buy tickets and wait for the close. Live draws run on the company's Facebook page every Wednesday and Sunday at 8.30pm, with Google's random number generator picking the winning ticket. Some competitions are AutoDraws or instant wins with no live stream. Results go on the Draw Results page with the winner's first name, surname initial and ticket number.

Can you enter Guitars Giveaway for free?+

Post an unenclosed postcard to Guitars Giveaway, 9 Orchard Gardens, Choppington, Northumberland NE62 5DD with your contact details and the competition you are entering, as clause 3.11 of the terms sets out. You need an account on the site first, each entry goes on its own card, receipt is not acknowledged and a card that arrives after the cap is reached is not entered.

How fast does Guitars Giveaway deliver prizes?+

Quickly, according to reviewers. Winners posting in 2026 describe a Gibson Les Paul arriving two days after the draw and a Jackson delivered within three days with FedEx tracking. One reviewer waited about a week after making contact. The terms give the company up to 7 days to hold the draw and you 21 days to claim.

Is Guitars Giveaway gambling?+

Guitars Giveaway runs paid-entry guitar competitions, and its terms (clause 11.4) refer to each draw as a prize competition. Entrants answer a competition question, and clause 3.11 offers a free postal entry route, which is the usual shape of a UK prize competition. You are still paying for a chance at a guitar and the site offers no spending tools, so set a budget before you buy.

Trust Notes

PDD Trust Score 4.2/5 · Trustpilot 4.9. Strengths: each product page shows the ticket cap, the number sold and the per-person limit, winners are listed across 108 pages and draw results carry ticket numbers with a downloadable entry list per competition, free postal entry is in clause 3.11 of the terms, Guitars Giveaway Ltd is active with accounts made up to August 2025 and a confirmation statement filed in August 2026, and none of the 24 Trustpilot reviews read describes a missing or slow prize. What keeps the score from going higher: one person may hold up to 499 of 4,999 tickets (about 10%) while the AML policy states a 5% limit, two reviewers in late 2024 and early 2025 questioned repeat winners (only the first got a reply), and two 2025 reviewers say their accounts were banned or locked after complaining; 159 reviews is a small base and Trustpilot notes the company has not recently asked for reviews; there are no spending controls or responsible-play page; clause 7.1 leaves disputes with the company and no complaints procedure was found beyond a web form; the FAQ and the terms disagree on the claim window. Checked 30 October 2026.
