Why we rate it that way

Caddy Comps describes itself as the UK's leading golf competition website; PDD could not verify that claim, but the public record on company status, reviews and winners is strong. Caddy Comps Ltd (company 13410678) was incorporated in May 2021 and its Companies House record shows filings up to date and no strike-off. The Trustpilot score is a flat 5.0 across a very large review base, and recent winners describe prizes arriving within two to four days. Every competition shows tickets sold against a published cap, the winners page runs to 266 pages of photos, names, prizes, ticket numbers and draw times, and clause 11.4 of the terms promises the draw goes ahead whatever the entry count. Free postal entry is in clause 3.11, one postcard per entry, and set-limit, take-a-break and self-exclusion tools appear once you log in. Where it falls short: the biggest competitions are instant wins with caps near 330,000 tickets, and the sharpest complaints come from buyers: one reviewer reports spending £430 over three months for £5 of site credit, and others report spending £150 to £200 with no win. At least nine reviewers since June 2025 say the same names keep appearing on the winners page; the company replies to most of them, pointing to the volume of draws, but it does not publish how its random draw is generated. Instant-win tickets are the format where reviewers report the poorest returns.

About Caddy Comps

Caddy Comps is a golf competition site run by Caddy Comps Ltd from a farm address near Peterborough, trading since 2021. Most prizes are clubs and gadgets, from a PING driver bundle on sale now to the Shot Scope rangefinders and launch monitor on its winners board, with a Rolex Submariner, cars and cash draws alongside. Tickets run from 7p to £4.44, live draws go out on Instagram every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, and it holds 5.0 on Trustpilot from about 8,600 reviews (October 2026). The caveats, covered below, are instant-win odds and a steady trickle of reviewers who doubt the draws.

Is Caddy Comps legit?

Caddy Comps Ltd has been a registered UK company since May 2021. One negative review disputes an instant win that vanished from the page, which the company says was never a winning ticket. No ASA ruling turned up. Winners are named publicly with ticket numbers and the terms include a postal free-entry route. Two things to weigh: the recurring complaint that familiar names keep winning, which the company answers but has not settled by publishing its draw method, and instant wins, where several reviewers describe three-figure spends with little or nothing back.
Pros
  • +A 5.0 Trustpilot score on one of the largest review bases in the sector, nearly 3,900 of those reviews posted in the past year, and the profile states the company answers every negative review, usually within a day.
  • +Prizes arrive quickly: October 2026 reviewers describe watches and clubs turning up within days of the draw, with instant-win winners emailed at once and contacted on WhatsApp.
  • +Published caps and winners: every competition shows tickets sold against its cap, and the public winners page lists each winner with photo, prize, ticket number and draw time.
  • +Caddy Comps Ltd has traded since May 2021 with filings up to date, the no-minimum-entries clause means draws are never postponed for low sales, and postal free entry is written into the terms.
Cons
  • −At least nine reviewers since June 2025 say the same names keep turning up among the winners; the company usually replies but does not state how its random draw is generated.
  • −The largest competitions are instant wins with caps near 330,000 tickets; one reviewer puts three months of instant-win spend at £430 against £5 of site credit, and two others say £200 and over £150 bought them nothing.
  • −Responsible-gaming tools (limits, breaks, self-exclusion) only appear once you are logged in, and the complaints policy names no external escalation route.
  • −Per-person entry limits are left to each competition page rather than the terms, and the contact email is hidden behind a script on every page.

Frequently asked questions

Is Caddy Comps legit?+

A perfect 5.0 Trustpilot score on more than 8,000 reviews is the strongest single signal, and the rest of the record backs it: Caddy Comps Ltd (13410678) is a live UK company, winners are named publicly with ticket numbers, and not one of the 37 negative reviews PDD read says a prize went unpaid or turned up late. The main grumble is a feeling that regulars win too often, which the company disputes.

How do Caddy Comps draws work?+

Standard competitions close at a published cap or end date and are drawn live on Instagram (@caddycomps) on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday evenings, usually at 8:30pm. AutoDraws skip the stream and let the website pick at random at the end time. Instant wins have predetermined winning ticket numbers revealed after purchase, and those tickets also go into the final draw.

Can you enter Caddy Comps for free?+

Post an unenclosed postcard, first or second class, to Wittering Grange Farm, Wansford, Peterborough PE8 6NR with the details the terms list (clause 3.11). You need a website account first, each postcard counts as one entry, and several in one envelope count as one.

How fast does Caddy Comps pay out?+

Quickly, going by reviews. Winners posting in October 2026 describe prizes landing inside a week, often in two to four days, arranged over WhatsApp. Under the terms you have 21 days to claim, and cash winners must prove bank-account ownership within 14 days.

Is Caddy Comps gambling?+

The company says not: a reply on Trustpilot in January 2026 states it runs competitions, not gambling, and holds no Gambling Commission licence. Whatever the label, entry fees are not refundable (the terms allow a refund only if the promoter voids or cancels a competition), so treat each ticket as money spent rather than a stake you might get back. The site offers spending limits, a break and self-exclusion through your account, with a GamCare link on its About page.

In their own words

“UK prize-draw operator — listed via PDD discovery; review pending.”

Trust Notes

PDD Trust Score 4.5/5 · Trustpilot 5.0. Strengths: tickets sold shown against a published cap on every competition, a long public winners list with prize, ticket number and draw time for each winner, a no-minimum-entries clause, a postal free-entry route in the terms, Caddy Comps Ltd active with accounts made up to 31 May 2025 and a confirmation statement dated 27 August 2026, and a 5.0 Trustpilot score with no unpaid or late prize alleged in the negative reviews read. What keeps the score from going higher: the repeat-winner doubt raised by nine or more reviewers, with no published draw method; the big instant wins, where buyers report three-figure spends for little or nothing; responsible-gaming controls behind the login; a complaints policy with no external escalation route. Checked 30 October 2026.
