Why we rate it that way

Golf Gear Giveaways is a golf specialist with a public results page, no ASA ruling and an active company behind it. GOLFGG Ltd (company 14650017) was incorporated in February 2023 and its accounts and confirmation statement are filed on time. Of its Trustpilot reviews, 95% are five stars, and the company replies to 58% of the negative ones. Each competition shows the pool size and the number sold, from a 40-ticket putter draw to pools of up to 250,000 tickets, and a 68-page results page names each winner with a ticket number, the newest dated 29 October 2026. Free postal entry is in clause 3.11 of the terms, an unenclosed card per entry to an address in Crewe. Where it is weaker: physical prizes do not always move quickly. Reviewers in 2026 describe an instant-win order with nothing received in March, a custom driver that took three weeks to reach the company and a cash alternative paid nine days after the win, and a parcel was lost in transit in January. The one- and two-star reviews are otherwise dominated by players who spent £10 to £50 on instant wins and came away with a few pounds of site credit or a few balls, and the company's stock reply is that the prize table was visible before purchase. Treat the large instant-win pools as entertainment spend.

About Golf Gear Giveaways

Golf Gear Giveaways sells tickets for golf kit draws from Nantwich in Cheshire, run by GOLFGG Ltd, a company incorporated in February 2023. The prize board is mostly clubs and gadgets: TaylorMade irons, a Callaway driver, Vokey wedges, Lab and Spider putters and a Shotscope launch monitor, with cash, site credit and a daily free spin alongside. Tickets go from 20p to £25, main draws are streamed on Instagram and Facebook, and the site holds 4.7 on Trustpilot from about 1,900 reviews (October 2026). The main caveats are slow delivery of some physical prizes and instant-win value.

Is Golf Gear Giveaways legit?

GOLFGG Ltd is an active UK company incorporated in February 2023, the terms name it as promoter, Trustpilot stands at 4.7 and a search of ASA rulings found none. Postal free entry is written into the terms. The weak spot is speed: 2026 reviews describe slow or missing physical prizes, including a parcel lost in transit and an instant-win order with nothing received, both answered by the company. These hold the score below the top of the band, so keep your order numbers and chase on WhatsApp if a prize is slow.
Pros
  • +Trustpilot rating of 4.7 from 1,904 reviews, 413 of them posted in the past year and 95% at five stars, with the company answering 58% of negative reviews, usually within 24 hours.
  • +Every competition shows the ticket pool and the number sold, and past winners are listed on a public results page.
  • +GOLFGG Ltd's filings are up to date, and clause 1 of the terms names it as the promoter with a company number that matches the footer.
  • +Postal entry is free under clause 3.11; instant-win prizes are placed on ticket numbers published before you buy, and the FAQ says site credit is added immediately.
Cons
  • −Physical prizes can be slow: 2026 reviewers describe an instant-win order with nothing received, a parcel lost with Evri, a custom driver that took three weeks to reach the company before being sent out the same day, and a cash alternative paid nine days after the win.
  • −The commonest complaint is instant-win value: reviewers who spent £10 to £50 report site credit worth a few pounds, balls or a glove in return, and the company replies that the odds were on show beforehand.
  • −No deposit or spend limits and no external help link; the only player controls are pausing or closing the account, set out in the FAQ rather than on a page of their own.
  • −The terms say the winner is chosen by random draw without naming the software, the Winners page shows photos with no names, and a result posted about 14 hours after close in September 2026 drew a complaint; the company blamed a setup error and said the winner had been contacted.

Frequently asked questions

Is Golf Gear Giveaways legit?+

GOLFGG Ltd (14650017) has been registered since February 2023 and keeps a results page of named winners, and the Trustpilot score is 4.7. A search of ASA rulings found nothing. Most complaints are about how little the small instant wins are worth, though a few 2026 reviews describe prizes that arrived late or not at all. Keep stakes modest on the big pools.

How do Golf Gear Giveaways draws work?+

You answer a skill question and buy tickets. Main draws are streamed live on Instagram and Facebook with the video posted afterwards, auto draws are picked automatically when the competition ends, and instant wins sit on predetermined ticket numbers you can see before entering, with the end prize drawn live at close. Winners hear by WhatsApp within a day and are redrawn if not reached within 14 days.

Can you enter Golf Gear Giveaways for free?+

Post an unenclosed card, first or second class, to 19/20 A-tech Court, Lancaster Fields, Crewe CW1 6FF with the details listed in clause 3.11 of the terms. You need an account, each card is one entry on most competitions (cheaper ones can give more), and several cards in one envelope count as one. The card must arrive before the closing date.

How fast does Golf Gear Giveaways pay out?+

According to the FAQ, site credit is added immediately and physical prizes are arranged over WhatsApp within 48 hours. In practice, reviewers in October 2026 report a cash alternative paid nine days after winning and a custom club that took three weeks to arrive at the company before dispatch, so allow a few weeks for anything built to order.

Is Golf Gear Giveaways gambling?+

The site runs skill-question prize competitions and says in its FAQ that it signs a code of conduct for prize draw operators. Your money buys tickets into pools of up to 250,000, and most of those tickets win nothing. It lets you pause or close your account but publishes no spend limits, so set your own before you buy.

Trust Notes

PDD Trust Score 4.2/5 · Trustpilot 4.7. Strengths: every competition shows the ticket pool and the number sold, winners are named on the results page, free postal entry is in clause 3.11, GOLFGG Ltd, incorporated February 2023, is up to date with its filings, and Trustpilot shows 4.7 from about 1,900 reviews. What keeps the score from going higher: physical prizes have taken from nine days to several weeks in some 2026 reviews, with one instant-win order reported as never received; instant-win rounds draw steady complaints about £10 to £50 spent for a few pounds of credit; the draw method is 'random draw' with no software named; player controls stop at account suspension and closure, with no spend limits or external help link. Checked 30 October 2026.
