Why we rate it that way

FootyComps is a small football specialist with a clean record so far, and not much of it. Project32 Group Ltd (company 12617834), registered in May 2020, runs the site, though the FootyComps brand only began trading in May 2025 and the company carried two earlier names before this one. Of the roughly 60 Trustpilot reviews, 59 are five stars, and none of the 61 read claims a prize went missing or arrived late. One winner describes an England shirt arriving within two days, and others report cash of £100 to £150 landing soon after bank details were shared. The terms cover the basics: every paid raffle has a free postal route with the same odds, instant-win prizes included; prizes go out even when a raffle undersells, which the FAQ says the company absorbs; and delivery is aimed for within 30 days of the draw. Each listing shows tickets sold and remaining, and a Responsible Play page offers spend limits with a 24-hour cool-off before they can be loosened. Detail is thin in places. The per-person ticket limit is mentioned in the FAQ but never stated. The winners page lists names, towns, prizes and dates but no ticket numbers, and its headline of 573 winners sits beside a list of 56 cards. Prizes top out around £500, so the stakes are low.

About FootyComps

FootyComps is a football-only competition site run from Bristol by Project32 Group Ltd, a company on the register since May 2020 whose FootyComps brand has traded since May 2025. The prizes are modest: signed and framed balls, England shirts, Topps card boxes, hospitality seats for England and Lionesses games, and cash of £100 to £200. Tickets cost between 25p and £10, live draws generally go out on Facebook on Wednesday nights, and it holds 4.8 on Trustpilot from about 60 reviews (October 2026).

Is FootyComps legit?

The FootyComps record itself only runs back to May 2025. The one 1-star review complains about a lack of contact after paying, and the company's reply says that account had won a £1 credit paid at once; nobody claims a prize never came. PDD found no ASA ruling against it (search checked 30 October 2026). Before you spend, know that the brand is only 18 months old, the company has had two other names, and a strike-off notice from April 2022 was dropped a month later, well before FootyComps existed.
Pros
  • +Trustpilot is near-unanimous: 59 of about 60 reviews are five stars, none reports a missing or late prize, and the company replies under most of them.
  • +Free postal entry is written into section 3 of the terms with the same chance of winning as a paid ticket, instant wins included, and no cap on how many postcards you send.
  • +Prizes are guaranteed whether or not a raffle sells out (terms section 5 and the FAQ), delivery is aimed for within 30 days of the draw, and one reviewer describes an England shirt arriving within two days.
  • +A proper Responsible Play page: daily, weekly or monthly spend limits with a 24-hour cool-off before loosening, a take-a-break pause, permanent account closure and seven helplines listed.
Cons
  • −The review base is thin: about 60 Trustpilot reviews, and the brand has only traded since May 2025. The company behind it has used three names since 2020 and had a 2022 strike-off notice that was later withdrawn.
  • −The winners page shows names, towns, prizes and dates but no ticket numbers or draw videos, and its headline count of 573 winners does not match the 56 cards you can actually scroll through.
  • −A per-person ticket limit exists, says the FAQ, but the figure is not published anywhere PDD could find, and the terms call the draw 'verifiably random' without naming the method.
  • −No phone number, no 18+ notice in the home-page footer, and the complaints page does not name the legal entity you would be complaining about.

Frequently asked questions

Is FootyComps legit?+

Project32 Group Ltd (12617834) is active on the Companies House register, the terms name it with a matching Bristol address, and the Trustpilot score of 4.8 rests on reviews with no unpaid-prize claim among them. Winners are named publicly and postal free entry is in the terms. Bear in mind the brand is 18 months old and the review count is small.

How do FootyComps draws work?+

Each raffle runs to a countdown, then every valid entry, paid or postal, goes into one pool. Draws are either automatic or live; the live ones generally happen on a Wednesday night on the FootyComps Facebook page and the recordings are kept. Instant-win prizes are assigned by chance to positions in the entry sequence, and free postal entries can land on winning positions too.

Can you enter FootyComps for free?+

Post a postcard, or a sheet in an envelope no smaller than 9cm by 14cm, to Henleaze House Business Centre, 13 Harbury Road, Henleaze, Bristol BS9 4PN with your details and the exact raffle name; the Postal Entry page lists every field required. One entry per postcard, each stamped separately, and it must arrive before the raffle closes, since the date of receipt is what counts.

How fast does FootyComps pay out?+

The terms aim for delivery within 30 days of the draw. Reviewers report quicker: England shirts within two days, a Topps box posted promptly and cash prizes paid once bank details went in. Expect to confirm who you are first; several winners mention an ID check before the prize was released.

Is FootyComps gambling?+

FootyComps says it runs prize draws under the free-entry exemption in the Gambling Act 2005 and is not a Gambling Commission licensee, so it is not on GAMSTOP. A paid ticket, at 25p to £10, buys nothing but a chance, and section 9 of the terms makes it non-refundable once the raffle closes. The site offers spend limits, a break facility and account closure, with BeGambleAware and GamCare numbers on its Responsible Play page.

Trust Notes

PDD Trust Score 4.4/5 · Trustpilot 4.8. Strengths: every listing shows tickets sold and tickets remaining, winners are named publicly with town, prize and draw date, draws are guaranteed whether or not a raffle sells out, free postal entry sits in section 3 of the terms with equal odds on instant wins, Project32 Group Ltd has filed accounts and a confirmation statement in 2026, the Responsible Play page offers spend limits with a cool-off, a break facility and account closure, and none of the 61 reviews reports a missing or late prize. What keeps the score from going higher: about 60 reviews and a brand only trading since May 2025; three company names since 2020 and a 2022 strike-off notice that was discontinued; the per-person ticket limit is unpublished; the winners list has no ticket numbers and its 573 headline does not match the 56 cards shown; the random-draw tool is not named; no 18+ notice in the footer and no phone number. Checked 30 October 2026.
